€99 pre-purchase assessment
The total price is €99, including VAT. It covers one agreed documentary assessment of one specified vehicle and a written report. The scope may include listing and seller information, vehicle data and available history, market context, documented risks, unresolved checks and a recommended next step. Findings depend on available reliable sources. No complete-history or mechanical-condition guarantee is given. A physical inspection, separately paid third-party report or other additional work requires prior agreement and a separate quote where applicable.
Send the listing or VIN first. We confirm whether the vehicle can be assessed, the exact scope and expected completion information before requesting payment. Work starts only after the scope and payment are confirmed and any required early-start instructions have been received. A form submission or transfer receipt is not an automatic booking or verification of payment.
Full purchase credit within 60 days
The full €99 is credited once against the final vehicle invoice or Balkan International's separately agreed purchase commission when the same customer places a written vehicle order through Balkan International within 60 calendar days after receiving the assessment and that purchase proceeds through Balkan International. It is a deduction linked to that purchase, not an automatic cash refund for completing an enquiry. No deduction applies to a vehicle bought independently from another seller without Balkan International arranging the purchase. The same payment cannot be credited twice.
Other service stages
Sourcing identifies options within an agreed brief. VIN/history review uses available records. Physical inspection requires confirmation of provider availability and scope. Negotiation requires agreed authority; a request alone does not authorise seller contact, a reservation or purchase. Finance assistance means checking provider availability and coordinating a request, not giving a lender's approval or guaranteed finance terms. Transaction review is not banking, escrow or an absolute fraud-prevention guarantee. Transport/import/delivery require verified requirements, a confirmed quote and actual carrier arrangements.
Parts and upgrades require compatibility review, a quote and order confirmation. Business or multi-vehicle requests have a separate agreed scope. Warranty and after-sales assistance are based on actual coverage and service contracts. Vehicle Passport records are evidence records, not government certification or a replacement for original documents.
Consumer withdrawal and agreed timing
For an eligible consumer distance service contract, a 14-day withdrawal period normally applies from contract conclusion. A request to start during that period is separate from general acceptance of service terms and privacy acknowledgment. Full-performance withdrawal consequences require the applicable express consent and acknowledgment. No pre-ticked option or general consent automatically removes mandatory rights. See Cancellation and Refund for work in progress, completion, non-performance and complaints.
Five-day purchase window after customer approval
After the customer gives their express OK to proceed with a specific assessed vehicle, the purchase must proceed within five days of that OK, provided the vehicle remains available. Availability is checked with the actual seller; the assessment and the customer's OK do not themselves reserve the vehicle or guarantee it will remain available for five days.
If the vehicle becomes unavailable, Balkan International restarts the process from sourcing for another suitable vehicle, including new vehicle-specific checks, assessment, any agreed inspection and the remaining purchase stages. The replacement is presented for the customer's approval, and any new assessment scope, price or order terms are agreed before work or purchase. Prompt customer replies reduce the risk that the selected vehicle is sold elsewhere, but do not guarantee availability. The five-day window is not a reservation. There is no automatic purchase of a substitute, no new automatic charge and no penalty created by this five-day rule. The separate 60-day €99 purchase-credit rule remains applicable under its stated conditions.
